Jacqui has had 8 years teaching experience from 3yrs-ladies and started Physie at the age of four with 21 years experience. Jacqui’s other dance experience include: classical ballet (5yrs), jazz (2yrs), aerobics (2yrs), gymnastics, contemporary, character, dance troupe, Pilates (4yrs), yoga.
Jacqui has 3yrs training in acting & voice over, and ten years in the industry as a child/teen (this included some dance gigs & auditions). In 1999, she was awarded local “Aussie of the Month” for forming and running the “Dance Group” at Corpus Christi Primary School. She ran this group for the students in years K-2, choreographing and teaching them dances to perform at assemblies and school functions.
Throughout late high school she was asked to assist with choreography of dance routines for school musicals and productions in collaboration with the head of drama and music.
Jacqui was also guest choreographer for APDA in 2012 and choreographer of the upcoming Littlies Syllabus. She choreographs multiple dances each year for her students to perform at the showcase. These have been ranging in styles from jazz and ballet, to African!
